Leaders Wake Up at 5AM

I have recently been blessed with the privilege of getting my hands on the beautiful book by Robin Sharma, "The Leader Who Had No Title". Wondeful, wonderful surprise. I was expecting it to be a book outlining in bullet points things I need to remember to be a good leader. But I was pleasantly surprised to be met with a story. A story with lively characters and real personalities.

My current read :)

I'm now on to my last chapter and dreading the next couple of days when I would finally shut the book close. Robin Sharma is amazing and every page is teeming with brilliance. Every nugget of wisdom is helpful but at the same time, simple enough to apply.

One thing I am struggling with though, is, are you ready for this? WAKING UP AT 5AM. VOLUNTARILY. I believe when Robin says leaders wake up early. Leaders start the day early to make sure to make the most of it. But waking up at the 5am, and voluntarily at that, is making me sleepy alreadyyy. Hahaha.

I get it. I get the reason behind it. But it's just so difficulttt. He says to make your body get used to it, to do it for the next 40 days. He doesn't deny the fact that it will be hard (I mean hello, I am proud of my self when I wake up at 7AM voluntarily! I cannot imagine 5AM on a DAILY BASIS.) But the good thing about it is, he also says it will get better. Well, at least he acknowledges the fact that it will be difficult and I won't feel like such a wuss when I do feel bad about waking up THAT early. Hehe.

Deep breath. Can I do it? 40 days. 40 long dayss. And then after, I will be THAT kinda person. The kind that wakes up at 5AM.

Leader's wake up at 5am. I am a leader. Therefore, I wake up at 5AM. One final, OMG. Hahaha. Wish me well! :)

  1. You can do it. What the mind can conceive, the body will achieve :)
